Is it possible that the election of Barack Obama as president will ignite a solid stock market rally. Perhaps some will think that's a strange prediction since Obama on the surface has a less friendly economic program for investors. However, I believe that an Obama victory -especially a big one – will lead to a surge of confidence and optimism among Americas, including investors. If there is confidence in political leadership that is strong medicine, which has been lacking in this country for eight years. Optimistic people spend more and that could limit the length of this recession.
