We live in an age when giving respect to most politicians is very hard. However, NY Governor Andrew Cuomo has earned mine. I didn't vote for him based mostly on my memories of his father who was a douche. If I had a do-over Andrew would get my vote. Since being elected he has compliled an impressive list of victories in Albany, capped by the marriage equality act that was passed last week. He is making government work for the people. And perhaps most deliciouisly stuck it to the Catholic Church on gay marriage. On a personal note it would give me great pride to live long enough to see an Italian-American installed as president and I got a feeling that Andrew just may be the one to do it!!
