I really can’t get over all the nonsense going on about this Super Bowl. Interestingly, a recent poll revealed that 40% of Americans would not let their boys play football. This is not surprising given the amount of injury sustained by those who do play this brutal sport. Indeed, the NFL is equivalent to the modern day version of Gladiators in the Arena. I personally think it’s disgusting and the fascination that Americans seem to have with pro-football reflects the basic violent nature of American society. I suspect that the folks who own lots of guns will be watching most intently today. As for me I couldn’t care less about the game and plan on watching a good movie from my collection.
