Saint Teddy

I must admit to being astonished at the way some cable news outlets are covering the death of Teddy Kennedy.  It reminds me of that line from Evita – "who is this saint who lived amongst us".  For my part, I am particularly disappointed with the revisionist history that seems to take hold when some folks pass on.  Ted Kennedy was a ultra-liberal who was perhaps well intentioned, but in the process was responsible for lots of expensive government expansive policies which have done more than good.  He was partisan and his personal life was very complicated.  He was not a saint.
