It's beginning to feel like the summer of 2008 when the stock market was setting up for the big fall. Trading is erratic and unpredictable but the unmistakable trend is DOWN. The jobless info today reinforces what I have been saying about the tenuous state of the economy. I now firmly believe that a double dip recession is unavoidable and that stock investors are whistling past the graveyard if they take a bullish stance. It's going to get ugly on Wall Street real fast.
