To be sure, I am no fan of public worker unions. For the most part they are greedy and in the case of teacher unions particularly cynical in their approach to the general public good. However, what is going on in Wisconsin right now is very disturbing because the current governor – Scott Walker – is attempting to destroy collective bargaining and is acting like a two-bit dictator. This creep is totally controlled by the ultra-right wing Koch Brothers who largely funded his campaign and who stand to benefit from the sale of Wisconsin energy facilities at a fraction of their real worth. Additionally Walker's first act upon assuming the governorship was to cut corporate taxes. While I am no fan of public unions this guy Walker is truly a dangerous creep who nows refuses to participate in any compromise.
