During the height of the Watergate scandal Senator Barry Goldwater reportedly went to the Oval Office and told President Nixon that it was time for him to go, and soon thereafter Mr. Nixon resigned. What we need here in New Jersey is for a Barry Goldwater to emerge and tell Chris Christie that it’s time for him to go. Indeed, the Fat Slob is making a bigger fool of himself with every passing day. Particularly hilarious was his retort to the charges of David Wildstein that the governor knew about the closing of the lanes on the George Washington Bridge. The Fat Slob saw fit to attack Wildstein (who he appointed to a $150,000 per year job at the Port Authority) as a creepy high school classmate who engaged in “deceptive behavior” with a high school social studies teacher. Please chubby give me a break. Of course the whole world knows that Christie is lying about the bridge fiasco. So far his closest aides have taken the fifth amendment and are refusing to testify. Meanwhile ever so slowly the Fat Slob keeps revising his story. About the only person who still thinks he may be innocent is Joe Scarborough!!! Hey, I have a thought maybe Scarborough should be the one who delivers the message to Christie that he has to go.
