Listened to a BioSpecifics conference call the other day and it was a disappointing experience. Have made good money in this stock and I'm still holding a decent position but one has to wonder that in the case of Bio's management it's better to be lucky than smart. In my opinion, the company did not adequately explain how they managed to lose so much money in the fourth quarter. Maybe those hefty management salaries had something to do with it? Bio continues to have a virtually non-existent IR effort and while the outlook for 2010 seems pretty good I left the call with a distinctly uneasy feeling.
