The stock market is giving off very ominous signals, and there is small wonder why. The economic situation -on a global basis – is horrendous and seemingly getting worse. The employment numbers are giving investors a case of the shakes, because now some people are saying they will be much worse than projected. Earnings season is getting underway and several analysts are expecting very bad news. Is there any reason the stock market should be rising? I think not. However, the big bad news is still in the housing sector which shows no sign of improvement. Until the time that the housing outlook improves expect the market to tank.
