Straws in the wind?

There is wide spread speculation this morning that the world wide economic situation may be improving.  Stronger than expected durable good orders in the US along with a surprise increase in February house sales got the attention of many.  Consumer confidence is improving in Europe.  To the extent that we now have a global economy this is significant news.  I'm impressed with Obama in London at the G-20.  All signs point to a good day for stocks.
